House, Stables & River

The one arch bridge at Beeley designed by James Paine.

The Old Mill designed by James Paine: it was a working mill until 1952, grinding corn for animal feedstuffs. It stood idle for 10 years and was destroyed in the great gale of 1962 when 3 big beeches were blown onto it.

Chatsworth House

The Elizabethan building Queen Mary's Bower is said to enclose an ancient earthwork guarding the old fort. It was restored in around 1830 by Wyatville.
