The jug in the foreground was used on Christmas Eve's to fetch draught beer from the pub opposite HPO at the bottom of Norfolk St. I think the pub was called the ELEPHANT.

Again. I have no date, probably 1970's when I was a TO on a Trunk Construction staff. I had a couple of T2A's one called Horace Hutchinson (Hutch) who fitted telex machines in firms around SF.They would ring in to have the machines commission tested.

The TO in charge around that time was Roy Hoff.

Telex Auto was on the lower ground floor of HPO just the other side of the Repeater Station where I spent many years lining up Private Ccts.
